The L.D. Bell High School Speech and Debate team has once again won the Taylor Cup for the top ranked school in the Rotary Club Speech competition. This is the third year in a row that Bell has won. Senior Laura Marquez tied for second place and will receive $250.00. She won the competition last year. Junior Mikelis Brown won first place and will get $600.00. These two students will perform their speeches two more times at Rotary events. Congratulations to these students and to their teacher, Mr. Allen Matthews.
